OUR FAITH

CALLED TO: RAISE GENERATIONS WITH FIRE AND GOD’S SUPERNATURAL POWER

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and immutable word of God from Genesis to Revelation. (2 Timothy 3:16)

One God in three persons

We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and that the three are one. (1 John 5:7)

Deity of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin woman; that he was crucified, died and rose again the third day; that he ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:30-35)

Salvation

We believe that salvation is earned through repentance and confession of sins; it is given by divine grace (not by works) and is received through faith in Jesus Christ. For, He is the only mediator between God and men. (Acts 4:12)

Raising the dead and eternal life

We believe in the second coming of Christ for his people, that the dead in Christ will rise first and those who are alive will be caught up by Jesus, and that all will pass through the judgment of God. Those who are written in the book of life will be raised to eternal life, and those who are not, to eternal damnation. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Revelation 20:11-15)

Sanctification

We believe in sanctification as a work done instantaneously in the spirit, but which, also, must be progressively developed in the soul and body of a child of God. (Hebrews 12:14, Romans 6:19-22).

The Baptism

We believe in baptism into the Body of Christ, by which a person accepts Jesus, has a new birth and becomes part of the body of Christ and his eternal life.

We believe in water baptism as a symbol of identification with death (to sin) and with Jesus’ resurrection to eternal life. (Romans 6:4)

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and that, through this baptism, one receives the power to be a witness of Jesus to the whole world. (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Mark 16:17)

Laying of Hands

We believe it is one of the ways to spread God’s blessing, healing and power from one human being to another. (Acts 8:15-20, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6)

The Five Ministries

We believe in the five ministries of Ephesians 4:11, as the gifts given by God to the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11)

Government Ministries

We believe that the apostle and the prophet are governmental ministries that establish the foundation and biblical doctrine of the church. (Ephesians 3:5)

Apostolic Government

We believe in establishing apostolic government in the local church with an apostle as head, a prophet as part of the government, ministers and elders. (Ephesians 4:11, Acts 14:23).

God’s Kingdom

We believe in the kingdom of God as government and in the person of Jesus as King, as two absolute and maximal truths. (Acts 8:12)

The Healing and Liberating Power of the Kingdom

We believe in the power of the Kingdom to heal the sick, cast out demons and work miracles, wonders, signs and wonders. (Matthew 12:28)

Faith

We believe that without faith it is impossible to live a life pleasing to God and that by faith the promises are inherited. (Hebrews 11:6)

Gospel Preaching

We believe in spreading the gospel of the Kingdom locally, nationally and worldwide, by all available means. (Matthew 24:14)
